BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - TELECOMMUNICATIONS giant LIME launched its Federation-wide 4G service yesterday (Oct. 15) – which would see customers in all corners of the island accessing the service – following a four-year $4.5M project.
At the launch ceremony, which was held at Port Zante, LIME’s Country Manager David Lake, indicated that the services can now be accessed anywhere in the Federation.
“When we say 100 percent 4G coverage… we mean just that. Imagine every area in St. Kitts and Nevis where we live, work and play will be covered by Lime 4G.
“Two years ago when we turned on the 10 4G sites, we committed to our customers that would complete this full federation-wide upgrade and today we are happy to report that we have done just that.”
Lake also promised unmatched speed while using the new network and challenged users to test the speed of the new service.
“We are really proud of our full 4G network and the amazing things that could be done on it…ours is truly a network for the 21st century. We are multiplying our speeds and our network even faster. And you don’t have to take my word for it. I invite you to take the LIME speed challenge and see for yourself that LIME 4G is truly the fastest 4G network in the Federation.”
